These terms govern your use of heykaro.com. The Karo product itself is supplied under its own terms of service, and consultancy engagements with SynapTix are covered by separate agreements.

Using this site

You may read, print and share pages from this site for your own use and for the internal purposes of your organisation. You may quote from what we publish, provided you credit Karo and link to the source.

You may not scrape the site at a volume that degrades it for other people, republish substantial parts of it as your own, or use it to build a competing commercial product.

We make the site available free of charge and without any promise that it will always be up.

What is on this site is information, not advice

We publish writing about AI, ticketing and the cultural sector because we think the sector benefits from people saying what they actually think. None of it is professional, legal or financial advice, and none of it accounts for your organisation's circumstances.

We take care over accuracy and we update pieces when we are wrong, but we do not warrant that everything on the site is current or complete. Where we cite third-party research or figures, we credit the source and you should check it yourself before relying on it.

Intellectual property

Everything on this site – text, design, code, images, the Karo and SynapTix names and marks – belongs to us or to our licensors.

Third-party names and marks that appear on this site, including those of ticketing platforms and our customers, belong to their owners and are used to identify them, not to imply anything they have not agreed to.

Karo itself

Nothing on this site forms an offer or a contract. Descriptions of Karo's capabilities, and the features available to any customer, depend on their plan, their ticketing platform and their configuration. Integrations marked as in development are not yet available to all customers. Karo is supplied under its own terms of service, agreed with your organisation.

Links to other sites

We link to other websites, including synap-tix.com, our integration partners and sources we cite. We are not responsible for what is on sites we do not control.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

Subject to that, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site, or from reliance on anything published on it. If you use the site as a business, we are not liable for loss of profit, business, contracts, goodwill or anticipated savings.

Changes

We may change these terms. The date at the top shows when they were last revised, and the version in force is the one published when you use the site.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
